Conventional metal matrix composites usually suffer from filler agglomeration, weak interfacial bonding, poor ductility, heavy weight and degraded thermal/electrical performance. Our solution adopts single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT) as nano-reinforcement. With proprietary dispersion and compounding technology, SWCNTs are uniformly incorporated into aluminum, copper, magnesium and other metal matrices to produce high-performance MMCs. Benefiting from ultra-high aspect ratio, superior mechanical, thermal and electrical properties of SWCNT, the composite achieves improved tensile strength, modulus and wear resistance at ultra-low loading, while retaining intrinsic thermal & electrical conductivity of metal matrix for lightweight structural and functional components.
✅ Strengthening at ultra-low loading, preserved ductility Reinforcement realized with tiny addition, unlike high-loading ceramic reinforcements which make matrix brittle. Strength and hardness rise without severe loss of toughness.
✅ Combined high thermal conductivity & electrical conductivity Interconnected SWCNT network enables efficient heat and charge transfer, ideal for parts requiring load bearing, heat dissipation and conductivity at the same time.
✅ Excellent lightweighting, superior specific strength SWCNT density is far lower than metal, components can be lighter under equivalent strength for aerospace, railway and new energy industries.
✅ Improved wear resistance & fatigue resistance, crack inhibition Nanotube bridging effect blunts crack propagation, enhances fatigue life and reduces wear rate.
✅ Tunable interface and consistent batch quality Custom SWCNT surface modification solves poor wettability and interfacial debonding between carbon nanotube and metal matrix. Stable performance batch by batch.
✅ Compatible with mainstream forming processes Suitable for powder metallurgy, die casting, extrusion, friction stir processing and other existing metal manufacturing routes.

Single-walled carbon nanotubes feature ultra-high tensile strength, modulus and 1D nanostructure. After surface functionalization, they disperse evenly inside metal matrix. Under external load, SWCNTs realize load transfer, crack bridging and pull-out toughening. Interconnected nanotube network also forms continuous channels for heat and electron transport, integrating structural reinforcement and functional properties.
